🥾 Day 1

Londorossi Gate to Big Tree Camp (2,100m to 2,650m)

Your Kilimanjaro journey begins deep in the lush rainforest of the western slopes. After registration at Londorossi Gate, enjoy a scenic drive through local villages to the trailhead. Hike for a few hours under a canopy of giant fig trees and moss draped vines.

🛖 Overnight: Big Tree Camp (also called Mti Mkubwa)

🌿 Landscape: Dense jungle, monkeys, exotic birds

Big Tree Camp to Shira 1 Camp (2,650m to 3,610m)
